Lost Bay KOA Campground Review in Lillian Alabama
This is a really nice KOA campground right on Perdido Bay. There is a decent sized lighted fishing pier. The sunset from the small beach area was really beautiful.
Most of the sites are pull thru which is great because they are pretty small. Our awning almost touched our neighbors. We didn’t see any fire rings but there are grills.
There is quite a bit to do in the campground. The pool was still a bit too cold for us (in March) but the little hot tub was nice and both were really clean.
Kids can burn off some energy at the nice little playground and there is even a fenced play area for dogs.
Nightly planned activities include karaoke and happy hour in the clubhouse area.
Overall we really liked this campground. The staff was super nice and helpful and even guided us to our site when we arrived and helped us pull in and get set up. The beautiful white sand beaches of the Gulf Coast are only about 15 minutes away and if you visit you have to visit Bamahenge. This is a really cool roadside attraction that I will do another post about. The only negative that I can think of is the closeness of the sites. If you are looking for activities and a pool then I think you will be happy here. If you are looking for more of a typical “camping” experience, you might want to look at some other parks.
